Culture is what shapes individuals and societies. It is a mark of who we are, where we have come from, and we aspire to be. Often, in the daily rush of our individual lives, we forget who we are as a society. We forget what kind of society we want to aspire to be. Mahesh Meenu Foundation aims to make its contribution to Nepal’s culture in various forms.
We firmly believe in equal opportunity and good education has the potential to provide that. It is that one thing that has the power to transform the world. Mahesh Meenu Foundation aims to improve the livelihoods of children through high quality education in various forms. Our strategy is threefold:
In line with our rich tradition of valuing our family and elders, we believe that we need to give back to those who gave to us. Old Age Care center are basically a place where senior citizens are provided with Food, Shelter and Good Health Care facilities. Old age is a vulnerable period of time for an individual’s life where they seek for love, care and time from their children’s and loved ones. Furthermore, with huge swaths of our nation’s young population migrating abroad, their parents are often left on their own device. Mahesh Meenu Foundation aims to fill that void to the extent possible.
Good Health is indeed a key to a happy and a prosperous life. Unfortunately, basic healthcare remains a luxury in Nepal. Mahesh Meenu Foundation aims to increase access to healthcare by partnering with organizations active on the field or by direct assistance to those in need.
The genetic lottery can be cruel. Our duty as a responsible member of society is to take care of the most unfortunate and underprovided. Orphans and abandoned children have the right to a good life just like any other human Being. Mahesh Meenu Foundation aims to support organizations helping these children by bringing joy to their life and providing basic necessities and financial support to give them a chance at success and a fair upbringing.
